Cos their nuts - I owned Labradors for years, one in particular was an outstandingly athletic dog. You could see her muscles ripple when she walked. On the other hand, I had two that suffered from muscular problems, one being on the edge of disability. I knew how to manage them but my effin Dad just wouldn't listen - he would take them out with the kids when I was at work, and I'd come back to two over-exercised invalids. Many a Sunday evening would see me having to massage them and stretch them out ( yogaish I suppose ). The poor animals were suffering - and while I always give respectus maximus to my Dad, he got the shock of his life one day when I went nuts when I saw the state of my dogs - again. So dog massage and yoga I suppose, has it's place - the trick is to find out your dogs capacity and never get anywhere near it. Seventy percent is close enough.

Barking . The Hongkies are very faddish . Pushing their dogs along to the yoga in little prams. There's folks living in high rise flats with huskies , going for walkies on the leash and wee handbag critters that yelp . But , if it makes some folk happy why not ?
