I just got AIS 4G. 37.19 Mbps and 4.26. 150 baht 4 GB, 10 days. Bangkok Metropolis, Nonthaburi, Pathum Thani, Samut Prakan, Nakhon Pathom, Ayutthaya, Chiang Mai, Chon Buri, Chachoengsao, Rayong, Chanthaburi, Trat, Sa Kaeo, Nakhon Nayok, Prachin Buri, Nakhon Ratchasima, Khon Kaen, Udon Thani, Ubon Ratchathani, Yasothon, Si Sa Ket, Amnat Charoen, Kalasin, Chaiyaphum, Loei, Nong Bua Lam Phu, Nong Khai, Bung Kan, Nakhon Phanom, Mukdahan, Buri Ram, Maha Sarakham, Roi Et, Sakon Nakhon, Surin, Cha-am, Huahin, Surat Thani, Phuket and Songkhla.
I plugged my phone into my pc and it opened another network automatically. 3bb is 29.68Mbps and 3.07

Now I'm getting 66.74 Mbps and 33.30 on the phone and my computer is running quick but can't test it.

Using Vivaldi Internet Browser I can see the number of different elements loaded and the size of a 'simple' webpage. Nowadays 10MB is nothing. Just browsing a bit and having some Mango fun I may end up with half a GB already.

Just browsing a bit and having some Mango fun I may end up with half a GB already. I think the 4 GB is downloaded like a movie and not browsing. |

On my notebook I'm using a True Aerostick with 3G SIM and a 'Super Savings 4" package (159++ for 15 days) which gives me a 370Kb minimum and regularly goes above 1MB. For the odd jobs that's fine, even streaming is not too bad. For downloading movies or HD streaming you need higher speeds of course. |

I was in Korat province at New Year, was hilarious, all the Bkk HiSo wanabee types wandering around with their phones held at arms length, this was in Khao Yai national park, I thought they were taking selfies.
Turned out, they were wandering around like zombies from The Village of The Dammed, trying to pick up a signal.
Pure bliss, well done to the Thais, no towers or antennae spoiling the natural beauty of the place.
