In fact, that's how I noticed her - delivering a withering one-liner to a pikey asking for someone to buy him a bottle of water in the pub.
Cute as a button, sharp dressed, and petite. I only noticed how petite she was when I gave her a lift back to her motorcycle at 5.00 a.m.
It had been a lock in, not in her bar, in another bar 500 metres away. She had come in with her boyfriend of the moment - the Knight in Shining Armour.
To be fair, the guy was about the same age, and they looked "right," as a couple. Except - farang mai roo.
He didn't understand his role in this realtionship - keep spending. He refused her a glass of wine.
"Eff off," she told him. And there began a one-hour plus argument between Mai Roo, and Little Miss One-Liner.
She walked out - he followed her.
She came back - he followed her.
She complained about him stalking her - he complained that he had taken her for a 2,000 baht dinner and wasn't getting the expected action.
He got a tad aggressive - he was invited to leave. He left.
She walked out at 5.00 a.m. and started heading back to her bike - I followed and gave her a lift, concerned that the guy was loitering.
"Bye, bye," I shouted, as her bike went right, and I turned left back to the pub.
Home alone -
The two of them.
One wondering what happened -
The other having forgotten him already.
And tonight, some guy will walk into her bar and it will all start over again.

great story though. 5am he was a gentleman to walk her to her bike. Then again, he could have had his noggin cracked open by the lurking bf.
