I must say I always found his voice soothing with a superb speech flow along with clear distinct diction reminiscence of an era long since gone in the B.B.C
Another part of my younger days shuffles off of this mortal coil and into a great adventure into another as yet unexplored and unknown cosmic address.
Thanks Terry for the pleasure you gave me and indeed countless others too over the years.

Yes always entertaining. One of the things I liked about him was how down to earth he was, and how he was always able to have a laugh at himself and perhaps more so at some of the programmes he used to present. Some of the TV programmes like Eurovision song contest, Blankety Blank etc were pretty bad, but he carried them and made them entertaining, by laughing along at the same time as presenting them. www.bbc.com/news/entertainment-arts-35453541

One of the few of his generation who wasn't a complete weirdo.
RIP Terry.

I thought his radio work was his best work. Consistently brilliant.
