Indeed. In my opinion these riding tours and such "tourist attractions" are obscene.
Let the animals enjoy their natural environment amongst their own...by all means have a viewing area but stop abusing them....then this kind of thing wouldn't happen.

True - but setting that to the side, animals can read humans like a book. I had no problem with the cattle and other animals on the farm I worked with - I detested being near the horses - and they knew it. I was scared of being kicked as I'd seen the farmer take a sore one. The horses picked up on my fear. Setting out to wind up any animal is an act of stupidity.
