A few years ago family visitors were watching a fight on TV. One of the fighters jumped and spun. Kicked the other guy just behind his ear. His legs locked, but his lights were out. He just stood there. After what seemed a long wait the ref got behind him an lowered him to the canvas, and stopped the bout.

Those flashing lights would be enough to send anyone into a fit.

Bad referee, that should have been stopped way back, just like Chris Eubanks sons last fight.

Condolences to family of the fighter who died, and unfortunately he won't be the last.
What a funny world we live in. Some schools in Australia are banning contact sports as it may cause injury to the students involved and yet every weekend there are kickboxing, boxing and even worse UFC events being held all over the country. Humans will always pay money to watch other humans harm each other, goes back even further than the Romans and their gladiators. Most spectators don't actually want to see a combatant killed in the ring or on the field these days but are secretly excited by the fact that statistically it "could" happen.
