This is being trailed as a car crash interview today. I'm no fan of George Galloway but he has a point - paraphrase "You asked me to come here to express my opinion, and you're being childish"
This is the kind of biased drivel that the BBC were pulling during the Scotland debate. They're going to do some damage to themselves if they keep this up.

I am no fan of the man either, WYSIWYG, I will give him is due, love the way he tore the Americans to shreds in their own back yard.
Unlike others, I actually believe him, not only that, I actually believe, he believes what he is saying.
Who is the up herself dozy cow that was vain enough to go where others have failed, take on George? An exercise in futility. No chance woman, yet another example of the license fee being wasted on "talking heads"

The whole issue is a minefield of double talk untruths exaggerations naysayers from all angles. The benefits from the U.K membership to me seem to be marginal. The cost of belonging to this social welfare club seem mighty enormous. The surrendering or interference in a nations rights and duties to its peoples concerning its legal framework, financial system and to a lesser degree border controls is reprehensible. Any state, nation that enters the E.U should be self supporting not joining with their begging bowl out so as the more affluent nations (taxpayers) bail them out of trouble. The gross distortion of the aims of the original E.U. which then were somewhat ambiguous have contributed to this debacle. The U.K. pound is taking a hammering at the moment ,however I think that although the pound will drop further it will rally even if the U.K were to leave the E.U. The lines are being drawn both within the U.K and Europe now for an economic, social and political battle that is going to determine the future and stability of both th U.K AND Europe and its peoples and also the rest of the world. It will be very interesting to see what those those results may be in both the near and distant foreseeable future. Perhaps in truth this is World War Three, an economic war as opposed to a military campaign, however the casualties and the resultant winners and scene will be just as it has been in wars in the past. I'm bloody glad I'm an old man and thus the resultant outcome won't impact upon me very much time wise.

Hear, hear!
Data as available shows uncertainty ranging from disastrous to profitable. Arguments for and against.
Personally I think that if the British population rejects the EC then so be it. If they want to stay, fine.
A 'Brexit' will probably have not much effect in the first two years or so. First we need to set up a quango to study all treaties, laws and regulations which require change. Lots of high-level Euro politicians and bureaucrats (including some to be the British version of those only) will look forward to the change to collect serve in gruesome meetings, pre- and after-drinks and the like.
I wonder if the common people get screwed again.

I'm in favour of staying in, but I'm ambivalent about the result as a Brexit will lead to Scottish independence. So I will vote to stay in, and knowing the Brexit plays into "my," hands.
Our forefathers would have paid £55 million a day to ensure no war in Europe. As it has turned out, not a single shot has been fired in anger between EU member states since its inception - that is beyond wonderful. The only people who underestimate that are the people who have never seen war.
Also starvation has been banished from our continent. The food supply is at a point beyond the wildest dreams of Queen Victoria, where the common man can walk into high street shops and pick up the finest foods in the world.
I'm all in favour of swallowing up former Soviet bloc countries, many of whom share a common cultural heritage with the UK. Anything that injures Russia, my hand is up. People are way too fast to forget the damage that country did to our continent for decades. And as long as Putin is on the loose, they are capable of rank stupidity.
If part of that swallowing process is giving these people access to our work market, so be it. However, I do agree that they should not be able to access benefits until it is established that they are in employment, and long term residents of the UK.

The Aircraft Carrier Alliance welcomed the final section of the second Queen Elizabeth Class aircraft carrier to the Babcock Rosyth Facilities on Sunday 20th December following its voyage from Glasgow, ten weeks ahead of schedule. On the 27th of January the Mirror reported "Royal Navy used foreign steel in new aircraft carriers as British workers are laid off The Labour Party discovered that 5,000 tonnes – 6% – of the steel used in the Queen Elizabeth-class ships came from overseas ... The 65,000-tonne, 920ft Queen Elizabeth carriers are being built at Rosyth dockyard and will be the Navy’s biggest and most powerful ships. " www.mirror.co.uk/news/uk-news/royal-navy-used-foreign-steel-7258207Now waiting what happens if someone remembers the design is French.

Take my drum to England, hang et by the shore, Strike et when your powder’s runnin’ low; If the Dons sight Devon, I’ll quit the port o’ Heaven, An’ drum them up the Channel as we drummed them long ago. Perhaps we may soon hear a tune from this. Linked to the return of King Arthur perhaps. It has been foretold: In the hour of Britain's greatest need, King Arthur will return to rescue his people. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Drake%27s_Drum

Seems totally unrelated, but for the last week or so in BTS/BRT stations I've been watching a trailer of a nice movie which opens in a theater near you begin of next month.
Titled "London has fallen"
