The time we were preparing to take off from Frankfurt airport and an albatross got sucked into the engine on takeoff. A collective gasp and screams from all was scared shitless nobody knew what was going on.

Must confess I did a bit of a follow through one occasion at 35000 feet in business class and the trolley Dolly's were not amused as it was a tad smelly, but in my defence I was just getting over a severe dose of Bombay belly

A memory best left as that, another time was when landing in BKK 1999 and the bloody plane from Sydney slid off the runway into the golf course. Never flew Qantas again.
