Sorry for the truncated intro to the story, we have to abide by Bangkok Post policies: ............................................................... Muslim businessman Kavinthorn Wongluekiat, 62, was born and bred in Chiang Mai and hopes he can make his home town prosperous for generations to come. ^^ See, I told you there was heavy duty bigotry against Muslims by Buddhists, but oh, no - you wouldn't believe me.
Ya'll went,
"My pal is a Muslim and she is blah blah blah and you wouldn't know she was a Muslim until she blah blah blah,"
or
"Yer gibbering a load oh crap, blether - I can assure you that blah blah blah blah in Thailand Buddhists blah blah blah blah."
Aye aye - The Blether was right again.

^ But blether, Islam is probably the only religion Buddhists would ever have an issue with. Why is that ? They are generally very accepting and respectful of others' beliefs.

Unfortunately, I can't read the article. However, who is it that's objecting? Buddhist fundamentalists? Local people? Rival business people? And what are they specifically objecting to?
