Came across this video on YouTube, thought I would share it with you.
Apparently these Chinese tourists were at a hotel buffet in Chiang Mai, all you can eat prawns etc. They went into a feeding frenzy which reminded me of the sharks that used to follow the prawn trawler I worked on in Australia, eating all the fish we pushed over the side.
The tourists were pushing each other out the way and actually scooping up the prawns with dishes and carrying them back to the table stacked 2 or 3 dishes high.

There was a story on that site about a Chinese guy who went to a seafood restaurant in Qingdao and was charged 1,520 yuan for a plate of 40 prawns, that's 38 yuan each, or about $7.70 in
Aussie dollars.
No wonder they go crazy over all-you-can-eat prawns for a set price.
This story reminds me of the time I was in Danang in Vietnam and I took a friend of mine and his wife and kids out for dinner, to a seafood restaurant.
The diners threw all their prawn and crab shells etc on the floor as they were eating and when they left the waitress moved the chairs out the way and swept all the crap into a heap and scooped it into a rubbish bin.
I could not believe the mess on the floor. Got funny looks when I asked for something to put the scraps in.
