Attachment Deleted
The 23-kilometre long MRT Purple Line which is the extension of the present underground Blue Line is now ready to open for free ride during a three month long trial run starting next month. The elevated Purple Line links Bangkok with its neighbouring Nonthaburi province from Taopoon to Bang Yai. Government spokesman Maj Gen Sansern Kaewkamnerd said Bangkok Metro Plc ,(BMCL) would operate its Purple Line from Bangkok’s Taopoon station to Nonthaburi’s Bang Yai station on a 90-day trial run from May to July prior to the official service commencement in August. He said that during the three-month long trial run to test its system, emergency plans and system’s efficiency, free rides for the people would be allowed from June. The 23-kilometre long elevated line has 16 stations and can serve 120,000 passengers per day. But after official service on August 12, fare will be collected, ranging from 14 to 42 baht, he said. The stations include the terminal station at Klong Bang Phai, Bang Yai market station, Government Office Complex station, Tiwanon intersection station, Wong Sawang station and Taopoon station on the other end of the line. englishnews.thaipbs.or.th/content/159727

So how many kilometers from one MRT link to the other, BangSu to Taopoon ?
'walking distance'? Luckily it's less than 40C and soon the rainy season starts.
