After the 2nd one in Japan, I read something about scientists were worried these are a sign a really big one is coming. I think they mean on the ring of fire. California is over due I saw just this week on Discovery, and it was from a couple of years ago.

Busy old time on the old tectonic plate highway and collisions occur. Note that the religious fruitcakes are out and about in force telling us that the imaginary being they have a direct line too is telling all of them to tell us '''The End Is Nigh''

Vesuvius tends to pop every 60 years, and it's not ready yet. It's late, could indicate a big one.

Vesuvius tends to pop every 60 years, and it's not ready yet. It's late, could indicate a big one. The last one was in 1944. The Americans were there and filmed it. I remember having seen shorts with soldiers cleaning ash from aeroplanes. Probably clips are available on the internet archive or other such sites. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mount_Vesuvius

"Powerful 5.8-magnitude quake hits Tonga – USGS A 5.8-magnitude has hit the coast of the Pacific island nation of Tonga, USGS reported. The tremor with a depth of 66km, struck 287km from the county’s capital of Nuku'alofa. The part of the South Pacific Ocean where Tonga lies is considered to be one of the most seismically active areas in the world due to convergence between the Australia and Pacific plates, the USGS said." www.rt.com/news/339924-quake-strikes-tonga-usgs/cdn.rt.com/files/2016.04/original/57134203c46188c5368b45d9.jpgPS nice map included. Now everyone can know where Tonga is in relation to Fiji and Niue
