Another strong quake hits Kumamoto region

A powerful quake with an estimated magnitude-5.5 and an epicenter in the Kumamoto region occurred at around 5:52 p.m. Tuesday.
A strong jolt was felt throughout the Kumamoto region.
Upper 5 on the Japanese seismic intensity scale of 7 was felt on Yatsushiro.
Lower 5 was recorded in Hikawa and Ashikita.
No tsunami warning has been issued.
