If you lose a button, rip a pocket, lose some weight, do you buy new clothes?
Or do you go to one of those street tailors and have the matter fixed?

If I lose a button I can and do sew it back on myself. A skill learned in childhood

A tip I like to run with.
When your cargo pants or jeans get tired, old or worn. Run 'em down to the street tailer and have them changed into shorts
If you have gotten fat and can't fit into them, just run.

Make a laptop bag out of an old hoodie or damaged shirt. Who can be bothered with tailors? With old jeans just cut them off yourself and fray them as shorts, designer look in an instant.

Sulak's shirts don't have buttons or sleeves...just straps.

Sulak perhaps lives in a nudist colony in the deepest darkest jungle in Thailand so clothes are not an option for him.

The cheap shirts (which are really expensive) these days have cloth that self destructs before the buttons come off so it is not relevant now.

I was in this shop yesterday selling ripped designer jeans, expensive too. To get 'the look' easier cheaper to give them to the dog to destroy.

My tailor adds a full sized extra button to the bottom of each shirt along with one of any other sized buttons used. Lose one (never have due to his sewing skills) and its an easy job to replace it with the correct size and coloured button.
His signature is that the last button hole on the front is horizontal not vertical and has a different coloured thread as also does the button. This also helps stop any gape when sat down.
