Thank you. Got it. USB keyboard or similar. Open laptop, on, close lid. I have limited space now and thought of something similar. Seems such a shame to leave a sager with a 17".

The sager is a sob going through airports; weighs a buttload. Yup, [Control panel] > [Hardware and sound] > [Power options] > [Choose what closing the lid does]. HDMI cable or DisplayPort cable from laptop to monitor. I've dumped all the heavy gear now. Small and powerful instead. Heavy desktop replacement laptop to 15" Clevo with 4K monitors in the UK and Thailand. Heavy DSLR's dumped for Sony A7 series mirrorless with just the glass I'll actually use. Makes travel much more enjoyable. |
