Were those little blue creatures communist bastids based around the Nazi party and Ayryan beliefs?
Papa Smurf, the supreme leader. Only Smurf who wore red and sported a beard reminiscent of Lenin. He ran the village using a communistic system.
All the other Smurfs wore the exact same outfit, and all had the same skin colour. Eerily similar to Aryan race especially Smurfette, The only female who was blonde haired blue eyed.
Even the hooded hats they all wore were quite similar to the KKK.
In the early series whenever a Smurf got sick, they turned black. This had to be changed to purple in the later years because it was considered racist.
Peyo, the French/ Belgium creator started creating comics after ww2 and was a Nazi sympathizer.
Then the big one. The arch enemy of the Smurfs is the evil Gargamel. He wore rags and had a big hooked nose and all he ever wanted was gold gold and more gold and would stop at nothing to get it which sounds familiar right! Gargamel if you remember had a pet cat named Asrael which is only one letter away from Israel.
Obviously no matter how hard Gargamel tried to kill the Smurfs, he never succeeded through his own greed and stupidity always failed leaving kids around the world cheering for more.
