Back when I was a teen I saw a lot of documentaries on this guy.
News and history stuff that was tweaked to suit the theme, inquiring minds, never believed any of it. Saw this recently.
Is the story about Nostradamus predicting the day his tomb would be discovered true?
The legend goes that had himself buried with a plaque engraved with a date and left a memento saying that whosoever held his skull would gain all the knowledge he had — then die.
The legend goes on to say that during one of the wars his grave was discovered and dug up by three soldiers on the date written on the plaque. As one lifted up the skull, his companions said that his eyes opened wide, then he was shot through the head with a bullet. I don't remember the date on the plaque, I believe it was May sometime, though the year would probably be much more useful.

From what I have read, legend and urban myth.. the link below is quite a good read, see this guy Lemesurier on TV, who is an expert in the french used at the time this stuff was written www.livescience.com/24213-nostradamus.html

I wouldn't be surprised if I know as much as Nostradamus and I have no doubt I will die.
So what up, doc?

Was his tomb somewhere in Isaan? Was it guarded by a talking snake that could predict winning lottery numbers?

Still though I remember watching some supposed documentary on him, he predicted that WW3 would be religious so in part he's right there. Scared the shit out of me when I was 12, the world was supposed to end in 2000 something.

I tried to find it but can't on Youtube, it was really scary at the impressionable age I was at the time. It dissected many historical events and tied them to his predictions. Now it's a crock but back then no.

Now it's a crock but back then no. If its the same one I am thinking of, even though the subject matter is a crock the Documentary itself was very well done...
