A woman was kicked off a Southwest Airlines flight out of Chicago on Thursday after she grabbed a pen and poked the man snoring next to her. The incident occurred aboard Flight 577 headed toward Boston at about 3:04 p.m., according to NBC Chicago. The woman was trying to silence her snoring seatmate and jabbed him repeatedly, Southwest spokesperson Brandy King told the station. Firefighters were called in to evaluate the man, who wasn't seriously injured. "The flight departed shortly after the passenger was removed," King said. "The passenger in question will be accommodated on a later flight." The flight was delayed at Midway International Airport for two hours, according to ABC Chicago. What annoys me ?
Economy passengers...... there are just too many of them, mind you it does give me more time to sip on my champers watching them walk by.

What annoys me ? Economy passengers...... there are just too many of them, mind you it does give me more time to sip on my champers watching them walk by. Obviously never flown at the pointy end, you won't get served anything until everyone has walked by and the curtains closed. |

Everything annoys me when I fly to Thailand. In fact I start being annoyed a couple of days ahead just to get into practice,  . If I choose a flight with the least amount of elapsed time, it can still take me 30 hours from the time I leave my house in the US for the airport until I'm in a rental car leaving the airport in Bangkok or Chiang Mai. I can luxuriously spend an hour each being annoyed at 30 different things. |

To my mind a wise proactive move.Imagine if the idiot involved decided to kick off again in mid flight.

Eh - I don't agree with that. I've been served as soon as I walk into business class just about every time I've flown, no matter how many people are still boarding economy.

My thoughts are that it was time a few flight attendents need to be thrown off flights rather than the passengers if they cannot sort out problems like passengers annoying others. You should be able to ask them and have them poke the snorer with a pen.
Of course there were times years ago I would have liked to poke the FA but these days ...well have you flown QANTAS lately.

Last time I flew Qantas was when it skidded off the BKK airport runway into the golf course. The food is crap too.

overhanging elbows past the arm rest is annoying.
The way I see it every one has 1 arm rest not 2, not in eco class. |

It can get worse than the arm rest,i had a hand on my inner thigh once,and it was creeping up.
