Is it just me, but when I click for the next page of a topic the new page is scrolled the bottom, which is utterly illogical? What is causing this? I don't get this behaviour on any other site.
This is using Chrome on Linux (LMDE with Cinnamon).

I just tested it and I'm not getting the same thing, all normal.
Have you only just noticed it?

If you are clicking a thread that you've already read, or marked as read, yes, it will scroll to the bottom, when click thread in several places, as it takes to LAST READ post of thread.
This is not a bug, it is not a glitch, it is how ALL forums do, when click link to a thread that parts are already read.
copy and paste the link fully and we should see something like this in the URL:
threads/recent/586853

I can remember being in a pub in Oz many years ago and winning a bet by standing on my head, up against the wall next to a dart board, and drinking a 10oz glass of beer. They were the good ol' days. Can't do either these days !  |

If I go to a topic I haven't read and click on the "Next" button I'm taken to the next page, but the page is scrolled to the bottom. Just did this on one topic I haven't read, and the link for the next page was bigmango.boards.net/thread/160/introduce?page=2Note, however, this only happens if I've scrolled to the bottom of the first page. If I click the "Next" button at the top of the page everything works normally. |

The solution is to stop clicking on those links Tony keeps posting in the sexy birds thread.
