Thinking of starting a monthly photography competition?
What are your thoughts?
How it works
1. I will choose a subject each month, I will make it a subject anyone can take part in no matter what part of the world you dwell in.
2. Upload your images and join in the fun
3. Members can then vote on them using the like button.
The image with the highest score at the end of the voting period, get their image in the winner thread.

Cracking idea indeed, when do we start Taboo? Also since many here are right professionals most can't compete with, what about a say pics from mobile devices type section to encourage more participants.

Cracking idea indeed, when do we start Taboo? Also since many here are right professionals most can't compete with, what about a say pics from mobile devices type section to encourage more participants. I'm good to get this started right away, yep would not be fair for people compete with pro level photographer, how about we drop the cameras completely and go back to basics and make it purely mobile devices, that will separate the men from the boys, 555 |

Split the comp into 'Men with all the bells and whistles' and 'Hip Mobile Cam Crowd' You can think of something appropriate.

Of course, but I fall in the latter category, choose a user friendly subject to encourage all please.

How about make it a poll at the end of the challenge and ask people to vote 1 winner rather than judge it off likes?
eg....Challenge #1 - subject name.....then after the deadline for entry set up a poll....Poll vote #1 - subject name
Why not cater for both parties, do a mobile and a non mobile challenge of the same subject?
Choose 1 winner out of each.
Or am I just complicating it too much?....just throwing ideas about

Poll seems a good Idea, mobile and a non mobile challenge seems the way to go I guess^^
