I hate them, was bitten/stung by one years ago while working out in central Australia, the pain was like someone slowly putting a cigarette out on my arm. Funny thing was one year to the day after I was zapped, the spot where I was stung flared up again for about a week then went away.

Good money makers though,The guards on our estate some 15 yers back used to catch the things put them in a bottle then pour in Lao Kao. Blighters did wriggle well.

The bottled centipede was then sold at around 500 baht a go to aged Chinese gents intent on restoring their virility by consuming the contents!!!

One of the guards had successfully defanged a centipede which effectively killed the poison glands and it would run all over him and you if you so wished and nothing to fear. Fascinating to watch and I partook of being an exercise machine rather tickly experience, er what shouts and spends the money had a bout of the screaming Abdabs when she saw it though. I was going to die.

We were at a restaurant, and one ran up my wife's leg, and inside her shirt. She was down to bra and pants before I could blink. Luckily we were the only customers.
