Nobody can predict which Ronnie O’Sullivan will show up when the World Snooker Championship kicks off at the weekend – says the man in charge of the whole thing!
World Snooker chairman Barry Hearn admitted on the eve of the sport’s showpiece tournament that O’Sullivan, five-times champion and runner-up last year to Mark Selby, remains the chief draw for casual fans, as well as the bookies’ favourite to reclaim the title.
He also admitted, however, that there’s a strong chance ‘The Rocket’ could fail spectacularly – which Hearn explained is all part of his charm.
