Well, almost seamless "When the new Purple Line officially opens next month, commuters will have two choices for connecting with the underground MRT, both of which will take around seven minutes. The Bangkok Mass Transit Authority will have 15 air-conditioned buses providing a free service between Tao Pun station, the final stop of the Purple Line from Bang Yai, to Bang Sue station of the MRT, or the Blue Line. Trains are another alternative for the connection. Purple Line passengers have to alight at Bang Son station and take the air-conditioned shuttle train provided by the State Railway of Thailand to Bang Sue to catch the MRT.
