A lady you know from CM ? No I don't know her - I was talking to an American lady and the Thai lady was bursting to get in on the conversation. I mentioned I was intending to go to Vancouver and Japan, and the Thai lady asked me if I'd ever been to Thailand. Once or twice, I said.

It's interesting how many Americans live here. I was talking to a couple who said that access to cheap medical facilities was a big driver for many. They also say that it's a great low cost location in general, with housing being much cheaper than the States too.

Here's your chance to get a few ''brownie points '' from the BBQ. Could well be played as as a ''Trump hand.''

Next time you see her, tell her she still owes me the "fiver" she borrowed 20+ years ago.

Can she knock up a decent Enchillada?

Strangest small world experience for me...sitting in the Kangeroo bar in Kowloon many moons ago, pxssing down with rain, got talking to a Kiwi couple from Auckland, mentioned i remembered as kid our next door neighbours in the UK moving to NZ, mentioned their surname and couple said their next door neighbours had the same surname, gave them their first names and yes you guessed it, it was them

I drove down to my eldest brother's home in Basingstoke. On the M40 I stopped to eat. A neighbour was sat nearby. He was travelling home from his parents in Oxford.
