I wish the girl a good and complete recovery. Still I hope she understands now a bit of common sense is useful "'Traumatised' Briton recuperating after fall from Thailand waterfall Natalie Cook, 19, broke several major bones including pelvis, hip and femur after fall in Mae Wang national park in May ... “They need to make sure they’re telling you what’s dangerous because when you’re on holiday you don’t really know, especially when you’re first-time travelling like I was. You don’t expect these things to be dangerous but they are.” ... " www.theguardian.com/uk-news/2016/aug/04/briton-traumatised-thailand-fall-rocks-natalie-cook

And what is different about this case is that you will note there are no hands out looking for money, the young lady appears to have had medical insurance and by all accounts she was well taken care of in Thailand

And what is different about this case is that you will note there are no hands out looking for money, the young lady appears to have had medical insurance and by all accounts she was well taken care of in Thailand She said Gap 360, which is based in Kent, had since refunded her the £1,500 cost of the holiday and flights to Thailand, but that she had filed a legal claim for compensation. “They did refund me for the whole holiday and the flights, but I am trying to file a claim against them because there was no safety briefing or anything.” she said.

In a related case Gap 360 is suing a former customer for being a complete moron, who lacked common sense

Maybe next time the girl will travel to the Land of Oz to watch those cute spiders, snakes, tickle a crocodile and swim with some 'white' ones

Does not seem to have the same effect on the Poms, they don't appear to be as timid.

We have honey badgers who will scare the fk out of any weak livered tourist If the lady decides to go to SA to swim with the Great Whites, do you think she would expect a safety brief not to get out the cage while in the water ?....

I cannot but help feeling sorry for anyone who is injured like this girl, after spending 7 months in hospital last year and going through rehab for the last 9 months I know how these things can change your life. But if someone has to be told that it's dangerous climbing over slippery rocks under a waterfall at that height, well maybe they should not leave the house.
Same as people who have to told by a sign that they have to wash their hands after using the toilet, should not be allowed to leave the house.
