I jusr watched a Mexican tourist fighting with hotel security. Police are here, and are carting the guy away to the cells where, remarkably, they'll give him a couple of tequilas and feed him.
As told to me by my waiter who claims he's done a few overnighters in the cells. So why give him Tequila in the cell? Cooperation of course. "Behave and we'll give u a couple of drinks and tacos."
Having spent a few overnights in Scottish cells - easy if the cellmates are quiet - it's an idea they should try there to shut the idiots up on noisy nights.
