Two police officers have been disciplined for wrongly seizing a £200,000 Lamborghini and taking it for a joy ride after pulling the car over for having no insurance. One officer, who drove the car at more than twice the speed limit, has received three points on his police license while another was subject to management action, Scotland Yard said. The Huracan Lamborghini belonged to London-based car firm City Supercars and can be hired for £2,400 for a weekend. It was impounded near Heathrow Airport, London in June, after checks mistakenly showed that it was incorrectly insured. www.telegraph.co.uk/news/2016/08/09/police-officers-disciplined-after-wrongly-seizing-200000-lamborg/So that begs the question - what car would you love to joy ride? Mine would be the Audi Quattro early eighties version. The first car that ever made my jaw drop. The one car that I did joy ride was the Dodge Viper 1993 - It was some buzz flying down the autobahn at 140 in that. It could have gone faster but to be honest 140 is freaky fast even in Germany, you need to be careful about slower cars pulling out.
