On FB someone saying they live in Hua Hin, said 11 devices were destroyed before the 1st explosion.

seems they have been finding a few devices around HH. It's really an odd location to hit with bombs. I mean if you wanted maximum impact then Pattaya or Sukhumvit would be the places to hit.

Using BTS and BRT here in Bangkok I'm used to 'security personel' wanting to have a look in my backpack. Always generates a nice 'BEEP' in the handheld scanner. I wonder if I should remove the screwdrivers and the Dutch Army knife  |

They actually looked in my bag today rather than just waving the magic torch vaguely in it's direction. Clearly security has been stepped up.
