Great two ''normal'' fellows talking as they would at home no front no ego trip. Could be the local regatta in a small town for all the boys to take part in and eventually win.
No gloss no ''look at me, no boasting,'' just two true sportsmen taking the world in their stride.

The duo in the clip have done and are doing fine. The below is certainly not meant against them.
It's just that I wonder who started with the 'wrap the national flag around me' bit. Sometimes the flag is partially on the ground, more-or-less used as a 'wipe the sweat away' towel, etc., etc. Maybe I'm just a bit old-fashioned.

Agree Rubl.
In truth the dragging of the national flag on the ground is considered in many countries a gross insult and even an illegal act. You're not old fashioned you're old military like me and a good number of others here on the board.
Image the drill sergeants reaction to dragging the flag around!!!
We Brits don't tolerate fools gladly.

I can sort of make the Irish lads out.... They aren't as bad as the Scottish accent ime. I was in a bar once in Canada and ran into two Scottish guys who had the strongest accent ever. I couldn't make a word out. I felt bad asking them to repeat themselves.
Re: wrapping the flag around.. only in the Olympics eh.

Fifteen or more years ago I met a youngish Scottish lad who was an English teacher in Bangkok area. I still wonder about that as even I had a problem to understand him

When I went to Edinburgh, I was surprised that I could understand most of the people, based on my previous encounter in Canada..haha. I guess it depends on where in Scotland you are from.
