Simple pleasures is the answer.
I long to just sit down somewhere for a few days with a book and do nothing but watch the birds and the slow sunset grow over the island in front of me.
That is all life is really.

I'll be buhi as he is more honest, but I came here Thailand , truly expecting not to live more than a few years , the way I was living. It just happens, and those duckers who think they know, well , perhaps they do, but, I am still chronologically closer to the inevitable. Ten years ago I went for it, professor farts dream style, no ars butting, but thought I would go out on a high, higher than I had ever been.
Takes time and there is only time.

I spent my life doing and thinking of what I was doing, I use past tense. Now I just think, and do what has to be done, not for money, not for status, or indeed for any ego. A friend, a very close friend pointed this to me. Time to lay back and enjoy all you have learnt in this life. Yes , I said enjoy, not regret, not to try to change it; this is it, enjoy. If I seem morose, then it is because deep feelings are not happy, happy, yah de dah. They are that, feelings, connections, of soul, of wonder, of joy.  Our gardener, photo taken a few hours ago, gardening for a neighbour. He is schizophrenic , sees people , ghosts invisible to me, pokemen? i don't know. We connect, communicate by our beings. I respect him as my equal, as having his own being , of being. Did he talk to god before conception? If so god granted him a disability, a mental one. Our little community embrace him, enjoy his company, his being and he is a valued member. |
