One I've never quite mastered: How do you deal with the famous "Thai lady silent treatment" ? You know, when you do something wrong and she just refuses to speak to you for hours, days..... I need to improve my Thai....trouble is my gf speaks perfect English....not a whiff of pidgeon about it. Can anyone recommend a language school? 55555 Looking for a visa as well ? I'll give you all you need to know right here right now. -a working finger to point at the menu -nam kang for ice -key baht for how much -sour face when they reply a price -cheque bin for the bill Done.......Johhny's Thai language course and no charge, if you'd like to learn the colours I charge 42k with a visa. |

I don't need a bum gun...I have a litre sized Evian bottle I keep in the fridge for that purpose....however a properly cushioned seat outside the Robin Hood would be nice. |

Think 179' away from what you knew in your other world....and DON'T question against your "logic" and you have a chance......
Those that say don't/bend/change are not worth listening to.....snd probably hanging out at a bar with predic(k)able results....run like hell from these kind/types....your life/happiness in LOS might depend on it......

I'm extremely picky about who I associate with in LOS. Fitted stainless steel front entrance gates you can't see though and this wasn't to keep Thai neighbours out. |

:oMy wife speaks very good English, i speak terrible Thai.
Wife understands everything, until we have a disagreement.
Then English not my lanquage i not understand, then the silent treatment.
Here is the fun bit. I am paraplegic ( since my accident) wife has to do everything for me.
Imagine the scene !! not speaking but wife still having to do everything for me !!
Silent treatment does not last long. As i will not co-operate, she then gets more angry with me, we usualy end up laughing, silent treatment forgotten.
