Almost every time I've tried for a taxi late afternoon, it's taken ages to get one. I'm thinking of getting the BTS to the nearest station, then a taxi. Is this worth while, and if so anyone know the nearest?

Closest BTS would be Bang Wa (Silom Line).
Most straightforward would be bus no. 40.
