Many people don't know that you can play Euromillion's and the National Lottery even if you live overseas as long as:
You set up a direct debit to play while in the UK.
You can't access the website out of the country, and you can't change numbers outwith the country. I point that out as even if you manage to beat the system to get into the website, if you win a substantial amount, and they find out you were out of country when the numbers changed, your entry is voided.
Minor wins are paid direct to your bank account, big wins have to be verified. You may be notified that you have a winning ticket - wait a few days, check your bank, and you'll likely see a small amount paid in. If after a week or so, you haven't - then you could be a big winner.
You'll be contacted by a more personal email telling you are a big winner after 28 days. If you can't wait, contact someone in the UK to check your account for you.
New changes have it that the numbers drawn will change from 11 to 12, and the price per ticket will go up to £2.50. There will be more guaranteed big jackpot winners in the UK as a prize fund will be held separate for them.
So if you don't play already, set it up ( or both up ) the next time you are in the UK. I've never won much on either but I write it off as a contribution to good causes anyway, so that's fine.
