Four young British men came to Thailand believing they could live it up by passing fake £20 banknotes to exchange booths. They had been changing between £100 and £200 at a time, taking it in turns to tour the booths on Koh Pangan. However, one exchange operator realised what was going on and called the police. The four were easily traceable from clear CCTV images. The cops tracked the gang to rented rooms in the Ban Tai part of the island. Thomas and Luke Anthony and Steven Belfry, all twenty-three years old and twenty-one-year old Adam Lewis were arrested in possession of ninety-six fake £20 notes, 86,000 baht and a bag of ganja weighing 2.1 grams. The four have admitted fraud and said they brought the fake money with them from England. Continues - pattayaone.net/pattaya-news/231861/party-british-forgers-thailand/
