I would be more worried if the thing is nuclear powered, the Americans might detect this think North Korea is attacking them and decide to nuke Russia in a premptive strike
Didnt Sky lab meet its demise the same way and ended up in some Aussies paddock ?

Poetic justice is when the out of control space station lands inside China when it comes back to Earth, preferably on the roof of the "heavenly palace". Hope nobody is hit no matter where it lands, and I hope some poor people find the wreckage and make a killing out of selling it to collectors of space junk.

Fascinating Facts – July 15, 1979 An Australian teenager collects a $10 thousand grand prize from a San Francisco newspaper for being the first person to turn in a piece of the doomed Skylab. The money went to Stan Thornton, a 17 year-old trucker’s helper, after a federal laboratory determined the handful of black nuggets he scooped up in his backyard was indeed part of Skylab’s debris. The craft plummeted to earth on July 11. www.mrpopculture.com/1979/34-1979/1577-july-15-1979I remember some enterprising soul triedd to sell the steering wheel of it..... When it came down I was sitting on the porch at Coolgardie enjoying the sea breeze. It took forever to come down and the dogs were going crazy. Must have made some inaudible to us sounds.

It would have fallen in the US but the yanks gave it an extra blast of fuel as it was coming down to make it fall in Australia. Good friends and Allies all.
