A Bangkok cab driver went out of his way to bring THB529,000 back to an Australian man who left the money in his taxi Friday. The driver, Wimon Tripat, 62, graciously gave the large sum back to the Australian, David Gorge Corinson, 59, at the Suvarnabhumi Airport Police Station Friday night. The Australian took Wimon’s cab from Suvarnabhumi to Mo Chit Bus Terminal earlier that day, according to The Nation. The police contacted Wimon after Corinson’s ride to ask if he found money in his car, when the driver checked the car, the money was unearthed under the front passenger seat in an envelope. “I was shocked,” Wimon told Morning News. “The money is not mine, so I’d better return it. I don’t think much about it. I’m just happy that the owner got his money back.” The Aussie said he was carrying the large sum of money to give to his family in Thailand. He profusely thanked the honest cabbie and gave him THB5,000 cash as a reward. bangkok.coconuts.co/2016/09/26/awesome-honest-bangkok-taxi-driver-returns-thb529000-aussie-businessman

Five G ? Tight prik, I would have given him more than that considering the amount involved.

I once got a sleeve of 200 Lambert and Butler smokes returned to me, it's nice when people care about others.
My tip was saying thank you very much, after the 1st tip of X amount of baht (would of been a decent one, I'm not tight)

Christmas time 2014 I bought my boss a $50 bottle of red wine, left it in the shopping trolley in front of the supermarket. Went back to the liquor store the next day to ask about it and somebody had found it and handed it in. Never did find out who it was but I was very grateful for their honesty.

Call me a cynic but the police called the taxi driver to ask he had had found the money. I wonder what would have happened if they hadn't called and asked

You're a cynic. I never thought about that for a second, but I do have some faith in my fellow man.
