I have a Samsung Galaxy phone, a SM-J100ML Keep getting messages about the memory being full, the phone's internal memory. I have a 8gig external memory card that is only half full. How do I free up memory from the internal side ? The details are - Total space - 4gig System memory - minimum amount needed to run the system is 1.79gig Used space - 1.76gig Cached data - 3.36mb Available space - 212mb I think it's the stupid apps taking up all the space, it says the amount of storage space being used by application data is 1.96gig Is it just a matter of removing apps and if so how do I do that ? Hope resident geek rubl can help me out with this one.

^^| I stay away from small mobile devices if only because the screen is too small. Personally I have a i-mobile Hitz with which you can make calls, receive calls, send/receive messages and that's about it. Never a problem

Thanks MrNobrot (is that a play on words or do you have something you want to get off your chest ?) I have been a member of HowToGeek for years, never thought to ask the question there. That first link you posted looks very helpful. And for God's sake, see a Doctor !
