How about Samsara? Anyone know where he's posting these days? ...I saw a few of his posts on TD...he sounded lost... As most of them appear to be......TD ain't AJF, to be sure. You can't force a square peg into a round circle.
On the positive note, most have found they're way over here - similar atmosphere where they're surely to be more comfortable. Since a good portion of AJFers cross-overs were already here anyway, a perfect fit for these coonts.

The end of the AF has been interesting. Since its demise, I've found three forums, this place, Teak Door and Thailand Teaching, all somewhat active. I've been gauging the atmosphere in each, and I can't speak for the balance of the now forum-less, but most importantly, I've realized I can be a cross-forum poster. I don't have to pick one. |
