Have to really feel for this guy, whose life has been turned upside down. The damage to his career is really imeasurable. I am not suggesting that he is totally in the right, but the whole process was deeply flawed and The CPS and The Plod neec to have a good look at theiir part in this. End of the day, no winners from this, just lives ruined www.theguardian.com/football/2016/oct/14/footballer-ched-evans-cleared-of-in-retrial

Have to really feel for this guy, whose life has been turned upside down. He was, and remains, an immoral scumbag. Personally can't feel anything for him but utter contempt. It would be nice to think that his career has been ruined. However, if all such immoral scumbags were kicked out of "the beautiful game" there'd be nobody left to punt an inflated pig's bladder around a grassy square for the amusement of gawping morons.

No I am saying this is indicative of the appalling way in which justice due to being twisted and manipulated by money and social standing etc fails these days.
Rape is a difficult case to prove and knowing how the C P S works the evidence must have been strong.
When one reads that admission made by Evans it does lead one to think that it was without a shred of doubt an act committed without the victims consent, and as for making a film of the procedure words fail me.
He admits he lied yet walks free and looks like demanding enormous sums of taxpayers money by way of compensation.
Indeed his victim it seems has become the criminal, while he and his brothers and another man have become the victims.
The brother and the other man should have been charged with aiding and abetting before and after the offence

A classic comment AyG, would not be surprised if it resulted in at least a couple of computer screens being sprayed with various liquids.

The whole thing was an absolute sham from the start. Not excusing Evans in anyway, but it doesn't seem that the Plod or CPS were impartial at the onset. Doubt anyone will ever get the truth, as all those involved seemed to have been wasted on booze.
There are no winners from this case at all.

Don't know how it works in the UK but in Oz if a famous sports star gets busted for almost anything they usually get off, the victim is paid off and the story fades away.
Well known rugby league player in Sydney a few years ago, drunk and sexually assaults a girl, girl pressed charges, girl drops charges for "some reason", case dismissed.
