But you know they and all the other funny libby pundits continue to preach to the choir. I mean I never say to myself .. damn, I think I'll find a die-hard redneck news source and see what they might have to say. People don't do that. If you've already decided to vote GOP you're beyond saving. All those shows and an overwhelming portion of news media are liberals. And still half the population are GOP goats. How on earth could someone be watching TV, watching and listening to Trump and then shout out, YEAH, I'm with you!!!! Sure, a lot of folks are hurting for their piece of pie. Too bad, they chose the wrong occupation. I mean coal production, when a coal miner comes home after a hard day at work and scrapes his blackened skin with sandpaper before dinner, does he ever stop to think .. damn, why do people still buy this shite? cough. Factory workers battling for union rights, pay raises, vacation time, cheering the outcome of every stand-up double they wacked .. did they ever stop to notice their labor is just what it is, labor? Did they have the idea Asians and Latinos where too stupid to learn how to do what they do for 1/5 the pay? Meanwhile robotic engineers were working 24/7 for the sole purpose of elimination as many of them as possible. It's Evolution. Sorry if you weren't selected. You have lots of company, don't be sad. |

I have worked in lots of jobs that could be described as being "harmful to the environment" like ocean trawling, forestry and mining, and oil and gas exploration, and have worked with two types of people - those who can see the damage being done to our planet by man, and those who are directly involved in the damage yet deny there is a problem. It has become so easy these days to separate the "greens" from the "browns", or as the Aborigines in Oz say, "flush the snakes out of the long grass". All one has to do is mention anything to do with the environment, like global warming or pollution etc, and wait for the denials to start. From what I have seen so far in the race to the White House, the majority of the Trump supporters are blinded by hatred and only have a limited number of brain cells to play with, like that of a gnat.  |

(just joking. I'm trying to fit in) The brain cells is the key. I call it minus IQ. From the lumpens at Sonoco to the shelf stockers at AutoZone millions depend on fossil fuel. Doesn't matter if ten billion scientists tell us it's cancerous to the planet. If ya gotta have that new 52" TV in your trailer or the BMW in the drive all logic is irreverent. The Western Europeans are the civilized peoples of the world. We Yanks will never catch up. Our gnats are a minority, but not by much. |
