I used to like a good hot dog with tomato sauce or hot English mustard, until..............................I worked at a meatworks in the smallgoods section where one of the things they made were hot dog sausages. Seriously, it's one of those things you are better off not knowing how it's made. I suppose that would apply to most of the processed foods we eat these days.

If the OP has the munchies and needs a fix right now, he should head to The Tavern Suk soi 4, right beside Jools.

I had an English mate in Chiang Rai who wouldn't eat rice because he saw how much chemical was used growing it. I used to say to him if you adopted that attitude to everything you would starve to death in about 10 days.

I told this story before, you may have missed it Mick, so for your benefit will repeat. Was on the p**s with the father in law one night, sat at some dive joint in Klong Tan. The beers were flowing and the spicy food/beer nibbles were bloody lovely. Went home as normal, no problem, woke up with a bit of a hangover. Mrs says my father wants to see you, we walk round the corner to the house. Father in law is sqautted down, meat clever in one hand, cigarette in the other, wooden chopping board in front of him, he is giving some big welly to some tripe on the chopping board. I made my excuses and retired to the side of the house to throw up, the colour and smell of this stuff was disgusting. Mrs, whats the problem? Me, no way am I eating that crap. She told me, thats what you were eating last night, my father thought you liked it, so today he went to the market early to buy some to make some for you. Bless them.

www.prompt-design.com/?portfolio=dandakais a photos of the butchers ones. I think their products are superior to the TGP ones which used to be the best. Theyshould be available at MACRO which is where I buy them. About 200 a kilo. As it is a CP brand they can be available in all the cp outlets but I would concentrate on the places that deal with foreigners. TPS did have them sometimes but small packets which makes them more expensive.
