I tried to log in but received an error saying that the owner of this board/forum has banned my IP address, is this true or an error somewhere in the system?
I'm now on a proxy my original IP is 103.10.197.XXX if that helps

Sorry about that. I m not sure what the issue is. I ve checked and there doesn t seem to be any issue with your posting rights or your IP addresses. None of the staff have banned you or your IP address.
Occasionally the system like any system has blips around access rights and user IDs. Also occasionaly if someone uses other Proboard forums you can get a user ID issue
Anyway welcome to the forum. See how it goes. If you get it again maybe post a screen shot or send me a PM and we can take a look.
Welcome

I've had similar things on other small forums before. I think these off-the-shelf forum software providers often block ranges of IP addresses that they associate with spammers or other unwanted users. Sometimes normal users get caught in the net too.

As a matter of interest it appears that True have been tampering with the works.
My I P address has changed but all the other details remain the same.
I was made aware of the issue earlier this morning when I was bounced from my normal torrent site by cloudfare when searching for a particular B B C programme. Earlier actions the searching and checking current uploads onthe site were fine then as said new action barred.
Shut down my browser and then reopened it all was fine got the link I wanted and now downloaded and seeding back, all is well or seems to be anyway.
No other sites seem affected.We

Unless you have a static IP address specifically allocated to you, it's normal for your public IP address to change from time to time - most ISPs dynamically assign them from a pool. You can often get a new one simply by rebooting your router.
