One thing I have found difficult to find is tomato puree.
They have a kinda same thing in a can but I'll be bringing a couple of tubes over unless someone knows a place selling it?

...Villa has tomato paste and, I think, ground tomatoes in a can (Cirio brand)...I'm not sure what a tomato puree would be unless you mean an uncooked and tinned sauce without added condiments...

...thanks for the info...Central Chitlom supermarket has part of an aisle dedicated to M&S...that's my next stop: can't wait to find out what Brit middle class tastes like... The problem with M&S in Thailand is that the range is very limited and the products that they do have are vastly overpriced. The last time that I looked into a M&S in Thailand was about 14 years ago and the price of a single serving Christmas Pudding was 500 Baht. FFS, you can get a great full sized Christmas Pudding (with high brandy content) from Bunter's for around 100 Baht. Well yeah, they don't stock the fresh stuff, and what they do import is more expensive than it would be on Swindon High Street. But you're basically complaining that the UK is a long way away. No shit.

No shit. No, I'm stating that a Christmas Pud the size of a golf ball is vastly overpriced at 500 Baht.

Have seen it here, its crap, tasteless, the mrs has tried it on all sorts and gave up. About the only use I would have for it would be a pizza base, make sure to load the pizza up with plenty of ginger garlic and chillies.

Seriously check MAKRO they do have some reasonable cans.

I have deleted a swathe of posts all intended to derail the topic of conversation.
Carry on like this and I will just start shooting you....keep this stuff in the pub where it belongs....don't bring it down here.
