China seeks free trade -
But it then bans Google, Facebook, Twitter, Youtube and various other companies from trading in China.
Surely that disqualifies the concept of free trade?

China seeks free trade
...disagree: like all nations, China seeks trade advantages...I wouldn't make the mistake of confusing what the Chinese say with what they do...

I would not believe a word that came out of China, fullstop. All this sabre-rattling about going to war with the USA is just that, all they are interested in is their own interests, and making money. Much like everyone else.

But it then bans Google, Facebook, Twitter, Youtube and various other companies from trading in China. Are you sure about that? I thought that all of them were perfectly free to trade in China, provided they complied with Chinese law. Some of them haven't, and so are blocked (not banned).

Google in particular offered compliance with Chinese law, and were banned in China due to a fit of pique by a senior politburo member seeing a post naming him as corrupt. You can access Facebook using a VPN - I did it when I was there, or by side-stepping via Google Hong Kong. The net result is the same - you cannot access google or facebook via a Chinese server in China. No matter what they do to comply with Chinese local market rules, they cannot trade there. If you want proof of their commitment to compliance with local market rules, see the recent news about said companies complying with Thai law.

Are they the best flames you can come up with ? You are slipping. But then you would know all about being both a hypocrite and a charlatan. After the way you carried on here, and with ProBoards, I am actually very surprised you had the guts to show your multi-faceted face around here again.
