My local is the corner shop, a few steps away. Not an accident, I chose the location. Many a happy hour,,,,, friends and of course some non friends. What the hell, I can dish it out.
Going back, way back, my first house. Not an accident, close to the pub I was a regular at. Darts team, and to my own amazement, I was the champion. Who else could throw treble twenty at will when p**sed?
The pub was a special place. A semi exclusive place, but all were welcome. Most were from the university,academics. A place to strip off the oh so serious and get p**sed.
I have mentioned some names of those that got p**sed with me. Fond memories. When I left that pub, that house, I sold it to Vic Sage, ex husband of Lorna. I needed to find more, to be free. Impossible, perhaps. Went to a different pub. Home close by.
Now I am rambling so will shut up.
