I guess one of these days also visa and workpermit application and extension will require a nice set of prints. For my Dutch passport a scan of a few fingers was made at the Embassy, four and a half years ago. Other countries may do similar. At least the fingerprint scan device avoids dirty fingers  |

What happens if your an amputee, will toe prints suffice? only if those toes fit in the fingerprint device. Mind you, a usually reliable source told me in confidence that a selfie with tongue stuck out will suffice |

What happens if your an amputee, will toe prints suffice? Reminds me of one of the General Elections that were held in Thailand a few years back. Voting was done by thumbprint and there were a lot of complaints off amputees after they turned up to vote but were refused the right. |
