Today's ramble.
My best friend, yes he I have mentioned before, who I have not seen in person for over twenty years. The barrister, expert on human rights, a loonie lefty some might say.
My thoughts, over lunch. I tend to go deep when sitting in my favourite place. No one comes near unless I speak, rarely.
A friend of my son works there, Burmese I believe.
Back on ramble. Friend, his mother German, told this before. Captured his father a knife point. She was a resistance fighter, he, father , a spy.
A love and two sons were born, the second my friend.
Friend married a Chinese girl, they are still married. He met her when he was lecturing at LSE. They have no children.
Brother married a Pakistani lady. They have no children.
Father, the spy, cried out when both his sons, he had no daughter,, married across race boundaries.
"I will never have a white grandchild,".
He never did.
