Although I have used Mozilla Foxfire for years, lately it keeps freezing on my computer and then locking it up- I hate pulling the power cord. So I am trying out Opera.
Wow, Opera seems a lot faster. Snappy.

I've used Opera on windows since version 3, 4, or 5 in 2000 or so. Now current is 42.0.2393.94 With version 15 they suddenly dropped a lot of functionality in a move to mobile devices and touch screen. Lots of people got upset (including me). A group of former Opera people started anew with a browser for 'power users' Vivaldi. Slow start but now very nice in 1.6.689.32 (Official Build) (32-bit). Also available for Linux. www.opera.com/www.vivaldi.com/

I used nothing but Firefox for many years, until it started freezing on me all the time. Have got used to Chrome now and will keep using it until it too goes crazy. All good products do in the end. Photobucket did the same, as did Flickr (because those scum at Yahoo took it over) as does Utorrent etc etc etc.......................
