It's starting, but more because the 'wrong' people try to cash in "NBTC tells ISPs to remove pirate movies The National Broadcasting and Telecommunications Commission (NBTC) on Tuesday asked internet service providers to block 36 websites streaming pirated movies or shows. Takorn Tantasith, NBTC secretary-general, said the telecom regulator convened a meeting of 12 big ISPs and representatives of filmmakers at its office in Bangkok on Tuesday to coordinate efforts to tackle copyright violations by websites illegally streaming movies and cashing in on advertisements." www.bangkokpost.com/news/general/1169516/nbtc-tells-isps-to-remove-pirate-movies

My ISP has blocked all torrent sites, so I no longer use their DNS.
Problem solved, not sure how that would pan out in Thailand with their gateway thingy wotsit.

Funny the law telling the ISPs to crackdown on torrent downloading. They're the ones making all the money out of it. In Australia some people are paying $10 a gig for prepaid data, that's one movie ! The movie makers don't make that much The ISPs will milk this cow dry.
