Whats the problem?
Reading online I would think this is a problem going from what I read, I wonder how may of the moaners actually live in Thailand.
Send the mrs, send the maid, send a motorcylce taxi driver, do it by post, do it on line, go to Singapore for the weekend and reset, use a visa agent.
I have NEVER had a ploblem with Immi, has anyone else, or is what I read elsehwere just exaggerated?

I think I've done it once in the whole time I've been here. Mostly a big deal for those who either can't afford or can't be bothered to travel away from Samut Somewhere.

Agreed cant see why some of the tosspots make such a big deal over this.
I could send my pp everything 3 months to office for them to do as its issued from the one stop in BKK, however what i do most of the time is get in the car, drive 10 minutes to the immigration office in Maptuphut, and i am literally in and out in 5 minutes
Per RGS comment on the maid / Mrs / taxi-driver, in the case of Maptuphut, indivduals need to do their own reports and not allowed a proxy anymore, company agents handling multiple employees can still do the reports on behalf of those people, but in cases of people like myself, i need to go in person, dont need copies of anything , just fill the little form in and thats it, but i think

You cannot do it in Chiangrai in that most of the time....think 45min to 1 hr others more or less. Most will accept someone else...but not all

Surely there cant be that many old wrinklies in CM doing their 90 on the same day ? Maptuphut has a separate office/counter for 90 day reports only thats why its so quick, even on a busy day, they tell you no more than 15 minute wait
